My Role at LBP:
As a school psychologist working in a clinical setting, I offer psychological assessment and treatment of children to assist with school planning. My role at Linden BP is to work with the clinical psychologists so that we can best understand and develop a plan of care for students who have unique academic challenges. I conduct psychoeducational assessments which guide us in developing suggestions for school accommodations and/or modifications that help students be their best. I also routinely collaborate with school personnel on behalf a student, at times observing a student in the school environment and/or participating in school team meetings. Through my experience in both public and charter schools, I have acquired a variety of skill sets which include comprehensive assessment and report writing, counseling, consultation, program development and implementation of school-wide Response to Intervention programming.

Personal Passions:
I have many different passions outside of my professional role as a school psychologist. One of my favorite things to do after work is read. I am an avid reader and challenge myself to read an increasing number of books each year (this year is 60). I feel most myself when I am on a beach, book in hand, listening to the sounds of the ocean. I lived on Topsail Island, North Carolina with my fiancé for a year where I learned to love beach yoga. My love for yoga followed me to Cleveland, where I participate in hot yoga indoors. Besides my wonderful fiancé, I have a fur baby named Chloe-Kitty who was my first love.

Fun Facts:
Besides psychology, my second love is fashion. I have a store on Etsy where I make hats, shoes, and various other items. My favorite fashion item is shoes, much to my fiancé’s dismay, I own over a 100 pairs.

Why I love being at LBP:
As a professional in the earlier stages of my career, I seek out opportunities to work with people who establish a model of collaboration and continued opportunities for learning. Linden BP offers a multi-disciplinary model that allows me to experience many points of views and to learn from highly trained, experienced professionals.
