Women’s Health – Specializing in Perinatal & Postpartum Care

The Linden BP team recognizes the unique challenges women face throughout the process of becoming pregnant, during pregnancy, giving birth and adjusting to the changes that take place for the family.  Growing a family often does not go as planned.  The process may be marked by unexpected difficulties, losses, worries, and unplanned medical interventions that can create additional stress for women.

Our Linden BP team member is passionate and skilled at caring for women facing these challenges.  She has years of experience helping women manage their worries, fears, and struggles as they move through the physical, emotional, and social changes of motherhood.

Specialty services to women include:

  • Stress Management during Fertility Treatment
  • Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss
  • Traumatic Birth Experience
  • Postpartum Depression and Anxiety
  • Identity Adjustment to Motherhood
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship Stress

Women are often reluctant to prioritize their own care, putting their emotional needs on the back burner as they focus on caretaking for others.  Yet this lack of attention to the self ends up being a disservice to themselves as well as everyone who cares about them.  The important saying “You can’t pour from an empty cup” is so essential for women to remember as they consider reaching out to a mental health professional.  Taking care of your family includes taking care of  you!

We appreciate what it takes to put the time and energy into therapy.  Our goal is to comfort and empower women to do this important work which can help relieve distressing symptoms and improve overall functioning.  We want to help you become the best version of yourself.

The Linden BP team also has relationships with local obstetricians, midwives, doulas, acupuncturists, lactation consultants, sleep specialists and chiropractors caring for women and is happy to collaborate and coordinate care in a way that best serves you and your family.
